Join an intimate group of like-minded women as we cultivate mindfulness around the words we choose to speak to ourselves and the ways we choose to treat ourselves. 

Margot Martin of The Ballet Burn teams up with Jen Broyles, a holistic health coach and essential oils educator, and Stacy Claxton, a transformational coach and integrative health practitioner, to bring you a weekend workshop infused with mindfulness.

A Deep Dive into Unwinding Your Mind 
We're so excited you're interested in joining us in our Mindful Summer Workshop! Here's a little bit about each of us.
Margot Martin has been immersed in the art of movement for over 30 years. In 2005, she studied with Alan Finger, founder of ISHTA Yoga, in New York City. She received her 200-hour teaching certification as recognized by the Yoga Alliance. In 2011 she completed the teacher curriculum training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and in 2013 completed levels 1 and 2 of Functional Movement Systems. In 2010 Margot developed and began The Ballet Burn®. Combining her love of ballet technique, yoga, and challenging functional movement patterns, she has created a workout unlike any other. The impact of her class caught the recognition of lululemon Athletica, and she was named an ambassador in 2012. In 2014 she was one of 120 global ambassadors selected to attend the lululemon Ambassador Summit in Whistler, BC, where she studied with Susanne Conrad of Lightyear Leadership. Most recently she has continued her education with Dr. Melody Moore, founder of Embody Love Movement. Jen Broyles, CHC, AADP, is a certified holistic health coach and essential oils educator who helps people regain their health and vitality naturally through nutrition, stress reduction, essential oils, and natural therapies. Jen has a special interest in the mind-body connection and using natural solutions to support the mind and body in healing and restoration. Her personal story is what inspired her to educate and guide others. She dealt with chronic digestive issues, anxiety, and hormone imbalances for years, and it was significantly affecting her quality of life. She left her career in pharmaceutical sales and returned to school to study nutrition and train with functional medicine practitioners. She is a firm believer in the roles that nourishing food, a balanced lifestyle, and emotional well-being play on overall health. Stacy Claxton (FDN-P, AHP, EFT-P) is a transformational coach who guides committed action-takers through their biggest physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual blocks so they can heal the past, show up fully alive and confident in the present, and create a healthier, happier, more powerful future. But as an integrative health practitioner she adds the missing piece many traditional approaches lack: body-centered tools to rewire the nervous system for lasting change. Stacy’s practice blends ancient and modern modalities, including Ayurveda, yoga, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and more. An educator and entrepreneur at heart, she combines private client work, both locally in the Dallas area and long-distance, with writing, speaking, and leading live events. What to Expect
We’ll kick it off with an exercise to deepen our connection with one another and make space for the transformative work ahead. Then Margot will lead a thought-provoking yoga practice, emphasizing meditative breath. She’ll help you let go of what’s not serving you and craft a personal declaration aligned with becoming a more mindfully positive version of yourself. 

From there Jen will share an easy and effective tool for addressing stress: essential oils. Used along with other mindful practices like breath work and yoga, essential oils offer powerful brain and emotional support to reduce anxiety, curb depression, improve sleep, boost energy, and promote a positive, happy mood. Jen will demonstrate how essential oils can bring about a balanced and calm state, improve outlook on life, and help us feel restored and uplifted. You’ll make your very own forgiveness blend to take home and continue the process of letting go. 

In the second half, Stacy will introduce another easy and effective mind-body shifting tool that can rewire the nervous system, heal emotional wounds, resolve physical pain, and catalyze whole-body change: tapping, or Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Blending ancient wisdom with modern science, tapping is a practical means to uncover and unleash the infinite resourcefulness within. We’ll experience together the literal power at our fingertips that’s accessible to us anytime, anywhere. 

The workshop will conclude with personal integration, followed by collective celebration, to send you on your way to a healthier, happier, more mindful you.
